Does ADT call the police?
If any verified security alarms go off, ADT Security will call the police. As one of Auckland’s premier security companies, we have a Grade A1 certification for our monitoring centre, which allows us to call the police via special direct lines, meaning we are one of the most responsive security companies in New Zealand.
Does ADT call the Fire Brigade?
If your smoke or heat detector sends a signal back to our alarm monitoring base, ADT Security will call the local Fire Brigade. We will also attempt to contact you and your emergency contacts.
If this is unsuccessful or if there is a confirmed fire event, ADT will notify the fire brigade or, if authorised, send a mobile patrol of security officers.
