The 4G network now covers more than 5 million New Zealanders and the state-of-the-art 5G network is stronger than ever. With superior speeds and greater connectivity available across these networks, ADT is now switching customers on legacy 3G network to 4G technology.

What to expect

ADT customers compatible with 3G network only will need to be upgraded onto the 4G network. Our priority is to ensure that your ADT services remain uninterrupted while we smoothly transition to 4G.

Who will be affected?

If your ADT services rely on 3G, you’ll need an upgrade to stay connected. Don’t worry, we’re here to help you through this change. Over 2024, we’ll be reaching out to customers who we believe may be impacted, to let them know whether they need to upgrade their entire system or add a device to enable their system to work on 4G.
