Previously if the ADT Call Centre phoned your mobile it would come up as ‘Unknown Number’ on your screen. Send this call to voicemail because you don’t recognise the number and it could result in an unnecessary call-out with the applicable charges. But that’s all changed.

As part of our commitment to making it easier for our customers to deal with us, we can now give you a number to programme into your mobile which will identify our calls as ‘ADT Monitoring’. So now you’ll know it’s an important call that should be answered immediately.

Simply programme the phone number 09 580 9700 into your mobile phone contacts with the name ‘ADT Monitoring’.

While you’re there, you should add our Call Centre’s toll-free number into your phone too so that any return calls are at no cost. That’s 0800 111 238.

Having our contact details on your mobile … now that’s a good call.


THE PERSONAL TOUCH WHEN YOU CALL

We’ve all experienced the frustration of calling a company’s service line wanting to speak to a real person and getting lost in a maze of button pushing or automated voice prompts. While it might streamline customer
enquiries for the company, it can be very off-putting for its customers.

Well, we’ve taken that on-board. So now when you contact the ADT Customer Care Centre, you’ll be immediately put through to an experienced operator who will answer your query in person.

During very busy times, you may have to wait in a priority queue for the next available Customer Care Representative, but we aim to make this wait time as short as possible.

It’s yet another way we’re making doing business with us as simple and hassle-free as possible.


ONLINE DIY

As an alternative to calling our Customer Care Centre, we’ve launched an online Self Help Centre for our customers.

Now you can go online at your convenience and read some simple ‘How to’ guides for basic alarm maintenance.

A good example of this, and a question our Customer Care Centre gets asked a lot, is how to change batteries in our DSC key fobs (remotes). You’ll find a step-by-step guide with professionally shot images online here.

And this is just the start. We’ll be adding more ‘How to’ guides in the very near future.

Of course, we do still recommend an annual health check or maintenance visit for your alarm system carried out by a fully trained ADT technician.
