As soon as a low battery is present, this will display a “Trouble” on the alarm control panel for all DSC systems.
Note: For detection devices, after seven (7) days if the low battery condition is still present, a low battery signal will be reported through to the ADT monitoring station. The seven (7) day delay is a standard default in place in all DSC systems to provide our customers adequate time to replace the battery themselves. For a low battery condition for the alarm control panel backup battery, a low battery signal is sent through to the alarm monitoring station immediately.
