IMPORTANT: Before fitting the new batteries, we recommend waiting two (2) – three (3) minutes [manufacturers minimum is 90 seconds] before inserting the new batteries. This allows the device to discharge fully and may prevent problems when restarting the device. In addition, ensure the batteries are changed in a clean single action to avoid making contact with connectors and any resulting device malfunction. Should contact be made, remove the battery and wait two (2) – three (3) minutes to down power the device and then try again.
