The monitoring team will follow your contact plan to determine whether the alarm is genuine or a false activation. This usually involves contacting you first or your emergency contacts in your absence. If it is real, the appropriate response will be put in action e.g a security officer can be dispatched or fire service or ambulance notified. This all happens whether you are at home or not. What else does ADT provide? The ADT monitoring centre regularly checks that your alarm is communicating and functioning correctly. The ADT monitoring centre will take action on the following critical signals:
