Feel Secure
In these times we are all used to hearing, and often ignoring the sounds of sirens and ringing bells from buildings and vehicles, which is why our customers rely on the ADT alarm monitoring service to be assured that someone will respond to their intruder alarms.

How Does Alarm Monitoring Work?
An intruder alarm is attached to your telephone line, or in some cases to a wireless network, which then is used to send signals from the alarm control panel to our monitoring centre. The operators are able to see what type of alarm is coming through and are then able to take action by calling keyholders, patrol response or the police. Operators are also able to monitor when the alarm is being armed and disarmed indicating open and close times of your business.

Wireless Monitoring
Wireless intruder alarm monitoring is a highly secure method of alarm communications. It involves attaching a wireless alarm monitoring device to your alarm control panel. This communicates via the ADT wireless radio data communications network to our monitoring centre. The main advantage of this system is that there are no telephone lines to be tampered with, which can be the weak link in an alarm system. While wireless intruder alarm monitoring is a new service from ADT it has been used for many years by our fire alarm monitoring teams and has a proven track record of reliability.

Specialised Monitoring
ADT doesn’t only monitor intruder alarms, the signalling technology can also be used to communicate critical temperature requirements of freezers or heaters, track vehicles and ATMs as well as transmit CCTV images. Ask your local ADT sales representative for further information.
